Pete Parata has had great success with grappling for a while now and Lockdown’s head coach wanted to award him. This caused Lockdown’s coach to go to his grappling coach, Geoff Grant BJJ Black belt, to see what he could do. Geoff told Gareth about the No Gi ranks, which are rash vests with the appropriate coloured sleves. Therefore on Wednesday night Pete was awarded his No Gi blue belt, endorsed by Geoff Grant. Pete has worked hard and is a big part of why Lockdown MMA is such a good place to train, congrats Pete well deserved.
